Volunteers will be helping prep a section of trail that is slated to be decommissioned by stabilizing steep areas and planting vegetation to discourage use of unsafe social trails that were created by people going off-trail. Entrance Location Volunteers should report to the Stormwater Facility located at 2679 233rd Place NE Sammamish, WA (Located in the Summer Ridge housing community) - please double check address when navigating. Come help establish a wild pollinator meadow at Evans Creek Preserve by prepping the next area for planting. Give back to your community, learn about native plants and enhance wildlife habitat! This event will be focused on removing and covering reed canary grass dominated areas to prepare them for planting. Due to limited parking - sign ups are REQUIRED.
