The Lower Commons Community Garden provides a space for community members to garden. Saturday April 27th is the Community Garden Kickoff event, where this year's gardeners get ready to plant their plots. We are in need of a few extra hands to help load and move wheelbarrows of soil to plots that need to be topped off, weeding the gravel around plots, and cleaning up after the event.
Water, snacks, gloves and tools will be provided. Please dress appropriately for work and the weather, bring a refillable water bottle and wear closed-toed shoes.
Masks are optional to wear when on site and working.
ALL volunteers are required to have a valid waiver on file. If you do not have one, you will be unable to volunteer.
