Join the city to work on a habitat restoration project started by the Master Stewards from the Washington Native Plant Society. Come help establish native habitat by removing invasive plant species at Evans Creek Preserve. Give back to your community, learn about native plants and enhance wildlife habitat!
This project is perfect for students looking to complete community service hours for school or individuals looking to give back to their community through restoration. Water, snacks, gloves and tools will be provided. Please dress appropriately for weather, and wear closed-toed shoes.
Masks are optional to wear when on site and working. Social distancing is encouraged while working.
Volunteers should plan to meet at marker #2 on the map Sammamish.us Evans Creek Wayfinding Map
ALL volunteers are required to have a valid waiver on file. If you do not have one, you will be unable to volunteer.
