Assistance League of the Eastside

We have been serving the Eastside since 1997.

An all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Eastside community and across Washington state through its philanthropic programs. Our community based philanthropic programs make a positive difference in the lives of children and adults touched by hardship or violence

Our Vision-Essential needs are met in our community and families flourish.

Our Mission: Volunteers transforming the lives of children and adults through community programs. Being an all-volunteer organizations we give back over 80% of our funds back into the community.

Our organization serves in local and statewide communities, individuals and families affected by poverty, homelessness, assault, domestic violence.

Our 4 Philanthropic Programs-

Operation School Bell® providing back to school clothing to 3500 students (2018-19) in 3 school districts, Lake Washington, Bellevue, Northshore.

Assault Survivor Kits® - Work with state-wide hospitals to provide personal care items and new clothing that can be worn home after treatment from the hospital.

Starting Over Support - working with families affected by domestic violence. Work with area shelters to provide household items and hold social events that build a sense of community.

Help4Homeless - Provide welcome baskets to local shelters containing household items needed to transition from dependence to independence. Being an all-volunteer organizations we give back over 80% of our fund s raised back into the community.
