Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting, enhancing and promoting Lake Sammamish State Park. FLSSP works in support of and in cooperation with the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission to create, maintain and celebrate a highly successful park. Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park was founded in 2013 by a group of concerned citizens interested in improving and advocating for Lake Sammamish State Park for the benefit of the entire community.

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park hosts a variety of fundraising events throughout the year and we always need volunteers. All of the events are a lot of fun and service credit is provided to high school students. Some events over the past years include Parkadilly, a kids concert & fair, Walk n Wag, Camp S’more Family Camp Out, Light up the night.. just to name a few.
