Who We Are
The SBGS is registered as a nonprofit corporation with the State of Washington, and has been granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
What We Do
The SBGS, in partnership with the City of Sammamish, manages the Heritage Garden at Big Rock Park Central. The SBGS envisions the space as a pioneer demonstration garden including heirloom plants with varieties that can be traced prior to 1930. The garden will complement the efforts of the Sammamish Heritage Society at the Reard/Freed House and give visitors a peek into the life of the early settlers in the Sammamish area.
