Who We Are

Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery (FISH) connects people to fish. Our mission is to protect salmon for future generations through education and outreach. For over 30 years we have supported salmon conservation, hatchery operations, and watershed stewardship by reaching audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

What We Do

Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery is an environmental education nonprofit that also provides operational support for the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. We lead educational hatchery tours for visitors and school groups, host special events to celebrate salmon and promote watershed stewardship, staff salmon science tables at school and community events, staff a FISHop Gift Shop, support hatchery fish operations, manage native habitat at the hatchery, and help out with groundskeeping.
