Looking for a fun volunteer event?
The City of Sammamish is seeking volunteers to help with the our annual Halloween event, this year the city has partnered with the YMCA to host a Sammamish Spooktacular (more event details at Sammamish.us) This event will take place at the Sammamish Commons Plaza
- Volunteers will help run Halloween themed tables including including helping hand out candy
- Volunteers should be comfortable giving firm, but friendly direction to visitors to ensure all visitors have a positive experience
- Shift is 5 pm -10 pm. Event starts at 6 pm.
- At the end of the event, volunteers will help with cleanup
- Please come dressed in a kid-friendly/non-scary costume. Theme: Farm (farmer, gardener, farm animals, etc)
Assignments and additional details (such as where/how to check in, parking, drop-off, etc will be emailed out the week of the event.)
Must register and sign agreement online. No walk ups without a signed waiver.
HOW TO REGISTER SIGN UP AND FOR AN EVENT
If you have already volunteered with the city: just login into your account and respond to the opportunity.
If this is your or your child's first time volunteering for the city please review the guidelines below:
Adults 18+ can create an account and fill out a waiver. After completing the waiver you must then respond to the opportunity to sign up.
Youth between 15 - 17 years old can create an account and then have their parent or guardian sign the required waiver form (this will be done by email). Once the waiver is signed, you must then respond to the opportunity to sign up.
